The variety has racemose inflorescences. The flower color corresponds to violet-blue shades on the color scale, and the tips of the inflorescences are distinctly white.

The plant is undemanding, prefers well-drained soils, and sunny areas or partial shade. It overwinters in open ground without cover. Recommended for group plantings.
