Variety description

The flowers of the variety have a deep royal blue or violet-blue shade with a characteristic white edge along the tube. The plant reaches a height of 10 to 25 cm. The fragrance of the flowers is described as sweet with a possible medicinal hint.

The plant is early-flowering, with the flowering period usually occurring in April. The variety is characterized as hardy, frost-resistant, and suitable for naturalization. The high lodging resistance is due to the compact structure.

Used in landscape design for borders, rock gardens, plantings under trees and shrubs, as well as for growing in containers and as a pot plant.
