The plant forms dense racemose inflorescences 5–10 cm in length. The flowers are light blue, sometimes with a silvery or lilac tint, and are characterized by a two-tone appearance: darker main petals combined with an almost white border along the edge. The leaves are narrow, linear, and dark green in color. The variety has a pleasant sweet aroma.

Flowering occurs in March–April and lasts for 2–3 weeks. The variety is frost-resistant and capable of overwintering without cover at temperatures down to -23,5°C. The plant is compact, resistant to lodging, and is suitable for naturalization in the garden and forcing in pots.
