The variety is intended for industrial production. Morphologically, the plants are characterized by significant height, a stable number of leaves, constant leaf blade length and width measurements, and predictable timing for the flowering phase.

Compared to a number of other varieties, such as NC55, the DH36 variety demonstrates increased resistance to leaf bacterial diseases. It maintains high productivity and raw material quality under varying nitrogen fertilizer application levels.
