The variety belongs to flue-cured tobaccos and was introduced in Croatia as part of the modernization of tobacco production. It is one of the regional hybrids that contributed to the increase in crop cultivation volumes in this region.

Quality studies of the variety's production showed that the degree of leaf maturity significantly affects its characteristics. Mature and overripe tobacco exhibit better aroma indicators, smoking properties, and greater leaf blade mass compared to immature raw material.

During the leaf maturation process in this variety, a decrease in the content of total nitrogen, protein nitrogen, and volatile bases is observed, while the nicotine level increases.
