The variety belongs to the Burley tobacco group. Studies of vegetative growth show that this variety outperforms a number of other tested lines, characterized by higher indicators of productivity and yield.

During comparative trials, the variety was classified as susceptible to black shank. The variety is used in the agricultural practice of the Campania region, Italy.
