ActiveOlea europaea L. · Olive
TODOLIVO S.L.
10 August 2026
The variety is a local Cypriot genetic resource, traditionally cultivated in the Nicosia region. It is a historical local clone adapted to the climatic conditions of the island and is not a product of targeted breeding.
The fruits of this variety are distinguished by their small size, with an average weight of 3–4 g. The variety is valued for its high oil yield, reaching 26–27%, which determines its primary use in oil production.
Studies have revealed the susceptibility of plants of this variety to the pathogen Verticillium dahliae, which causes Verticillium wilt.
