This Italian-bred variety is used as a forage crop. Research focuses on the study of its tannin content, their effect on the digestion of ruminants, and the control of intestinal parasites. The variety is also used as a component of specialized mixtures for flower meadows.

During field trials, the variety showed lower productivity indicators than a number of other varieties and did not receive broad recommendations for cultivation. Biological characteristics of the variety include the study of the composition of phenolic compounds during different growth phases.
