The variety is intended for use as a forage crop and for soil erosion control, contributing to the improvement of degraded land fertility. It is characterized by high growth vigor in the first year of life and forms a large number of shoots and inflorescences per unit area.

The plant possesses high drought tolerance and winter hardiness, as well as resistance to major diseases and pests. Sainfoin provides high-quality forage with a balance of energy and protein, due to which it is readily consumed by animals even in late vegetation stages.
