The variety has a green, short, spreading panicle and cream-colored caryopses. The plant has a well-developed root system.

The recommended sowing period for the variety falls in the third ten-day period of May with a seeding rate of 15–20 kg/ha. The variety is included in plant genetic resource conservation programs.

The grain is used for the production of millet groats, flour, and also as feed for poultry and animals. Use in the production of alcohol, beer, and starch is permitted.
