The variety has very small light-colored seeds, which are distinguished by ease of hulling. Research shows high nutritional values: the variety demonstrates one of the highest concentrations of nitrogen (21.58 g/kg) and iron (63.42 mg/kg) among the studied Hungarian millet varieties.

The variety is traditionally used for food purposes as a cereal crop, and can also be used as forage and exported. Due to its quality characteristics and mineral composition, it is of interest for the production of functional food products.
