The variety belongs to the group of yellow-grained millet species. The plants are characterized by a significant height, averaging about 145 cm. Compared to older traditional varieties, this variety matures later.

In comparative trials, GL Rebecca showed itself to be one of the varieties most sensitive to lodging, which is associated with its height. The variety possesses drought tolerance, effectively utilizes resources on various soil types, and is responsive to moderate nitrogen fertilization.

The grain of the variety is intended for food purposes after hulling, and can also be used for feed needs.
