The variety belongs to the very early group and has a medium stem height. The plant possesses high resistance to diseases, particularly to smut, and is highly resistant to lodging.

The grain of the variety is medium-sized, grey in color, and the milling yield of millet is about 65%. The variety shows its best yield performance when cultivated on medium-heavy soils well-supplied with nutrients.

In modern conditions, the variety is used in ecological programs, including the creation of bio-strips, and is used as an intermediate crop.
