The millet variety «HARKOVSKOJE 25» was actively used as a parent form in the development of new varieties; in particular, it served as a component in the creation of the «Харьковское 57» variety. In literature, it is considered primarily as breeding material and a historical standard.

Technological indicators of the variety include a high groat yield, amounting to 80–83%. The grain has a cream color. Detailed agrotechnical characteristics and morphological parameters are absent in open publications.
