The variety was developed from the Summer variety by recurrent phenotypic selection. The plant is characterized by an upright habit and reaches a height of 1.8–2.1 meters, capable of exceeding 7 feet under favorable conditions.
The variety is early-maturing and ripens 9–10 days earlier than Cave-in-Rock. It is distinguished by high seed germination energy and reduced dormancy. It possesses good adaptability to regions with insufficient moisture and soils with low fertility, including sandy ones.
The plant is multi-purpose, used as an energy crop for biomass production, in forage production, and also for environmental purposes to conserve soil and create wildlife habitats.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
