The plant has a compact, upright bush habit, is stable and does not lodge. The height of the foliage is about 60 cm, with flower stalks the plant reaches 70–80 cm with a bush width of about 30 cm. The variety is intended for use in landscape design, prairie flower beds, and container plantings.

At the beginning of growth, the leaves are blue-green with rich violet-burgundy shades that gradually spread across the entire blade. Inflorescences appear in July, have a purple color, and turn brown-cream after flowering. The decorative effect of the inflorescences is maintained until October.

The variety is a perennial of hardiness zone 4 (withstands frosts down to –34 °C). It is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests. Prefers sunny locations and deep, fertile soils.
