Variety description

The plant is a compact, vase-shaped clump. Foliage height during flowering is about 91–100 cm, with the total height of the clump including flower stalks reaching 120–125 cm. The panicles are open and airy, with a red-purple hue; flowering begins in August.
The variety belongs to warm-season grasses and is characterized by active development at high temperatures. The plant is drought-tolerant once established and has winter hardiness for USDA zones 4–10. It exhibits moderate resistance to Panicum rust. It is propagated only vegetatively by clump division.
Intended for decorative use in landscape design. Used in solitary and group plantings, gravel gardens, flower beds, and as a container crop. Maintains the decorative quality of the inflorescences until winter.
