The variety is a clonal rootstock selected for improving tree vigor and productivity in difficult soil conditions. It is characterized by resistance to root rot Phytophthora cinnamomi, moderate tolerance to lime-induced chlorosis, and high resistance to saline soils, restricting chloride uptake into the scion.
When using this rootstock, grafted trees exhibit medium vigor. Propagation of the variety is difficult due to poor rooting ability, which requires the use of special methods such as shoot etiolation.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
