The variety is a natural somatic mutation of a Hass tree. The plant is a medium-sized tree with a dense canopy and vigorous growth. The flowers are of type A. The main feature is the ability to bloom early and repeatedly, which provides the opportunity to obtain a harvest during periods when the classic Hass variety is not on the market.
The fruits have an obovate shape, and their weight varies from 170 to 400 g. The peel turns black upon ripening, and the taste qualities and consistency of the pulp with an oil content of about 20% are similar to the Hass variety. The variety has increased resistance to frost compared to the parent variety and is capable of withstanding temperature drops down to –2...–3 °C.
