The rootstock has an upright, spreading growth habit. Young shoots and leaves are characterized by intense anthocyanin coloration, while mature leaves are large, reaching 43–48 cm in length.
The plant possesses specific resistance to Phytophthora and adaptation to waterlogged soils. Data on fruit quality are unavailable, as the variety is not intended for commercial fruit production.
