Variety description

The variety was selected during breeding programs to find rootstocks resistant to Phytophthora cinnamomi, using the Thomas variety as a maternal plant. The tree is characterized by high vigor, forming an upright, spreading canopy.
The plant is used exclusively as a rootstock for commercial varieties and is not intended for the production of marketable fruit. In the absence of Phytophthora, the yield of the scion can be unstable, and the critical limitation for using this variety is its sensitivity to soil salinity.
