The variety is a specialized rootstock not intended for the production of fruit for consumption. Its primary purpose is the grafting of commercial avocado varieties to increase their resistance to adverse soil conditions.
The plant possesses slow growth and low vigor, which allows for its use in high-density orchards and trellis cultivation systems. Additionally, the rootstock demonstrates moderate tolerance to soil salinity.
The use of this rootstock in combination with the Hass variety contributes to achieving high yields and an optimal ratio of canopy volume to fruit quantity.
