The tree is characterized by a compact, upright growth habit, reaching 4.5–6 meters at maturity, and tolerates pruning well. The variety possesses increased resistance to wind and heat, and some resistance to the persea mite, but is sensitive to low temperatures. Young trees are prone to fruit drop; thinning is recommended during heavy yields to prevent branch breakage.
The fruits are pear-shaped with thick, pebbly skin that changes color from green to black upon ripening. The flesh is creamy and oily, with high fat content and a nutty flavor. The variety belongs to maturity group A, with the harvest period occurring during the summer months and extending into autumn, which allows for an extended avocado supply season.
