Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is late-ripening, the period from emergence to technical maturity takes 175–195 days. The root crops reach 19–22 cm in length, have smooth light-gray skin and a conical shape. The average weight of one root crop is about 60 g.

The flesh of the root crop is distinguished by its density, cream-white color, and high content of sugars and fats. It does not darken during boiling and retains an intense aroma after drying or freezing. The variety possesses high frost resistance and is capable of successfully overwintering in the soil, which allows for harvesting in early spring.

To obtain a high-quality yield, the variety requires loose loamy or sandy loam soils. It is not recommended to apply fresh manure immediately before sowing to avoid deformation of the root crops. The produce is suitable for sale on the fresh market and long-term winter storage in a cellar.
