The variety is the result of a cross between Physocarpus opulifolius «Monlo» and Physocarpus opulifolius «Dart’s Gold». The shrub is distinguished by a dense fan-shaped or rounded crown reaching 1.5–1.8 meters in height. Shoots are stiff and upright; young ones have a coral-scarlet hue, changing to bright cherry in summer.
The foliage changes color: in spring, shoots and leaves have coral and orange-terracotta tones, in summer they transition to lime and gold shades, and in autumn they acquire purple, cherry-violet, and fiery-red colors. In June–July, the bush blooms with small white flowers gathered in hemispherical inflorescences.
The plant is light-loving; the most vibrant foliage color appears in full sun. It is undemanding regarding soils but prefers drained substrates with a slightly acidic or neutral reaction. The variety is resistant to diseases, pests, and urban conditions, and is fully frost-hardy.
