Variety description

The shrub reaches a height of 1.2 to 1.8 meters and forms a dense hemispherical or spreading crown with sturdy woody shoots. The leaves are 3–5-lobed, dark burgundy, with embossed veins, and may turn a red hue in autumn.

Flowering occurs in May–June with small light pink or white flowers gathered in corymbose inflorescences, followed by the formation of fruits ranging from bright red to purple in color. The variety possesses smoke and gas resistance and high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zones 3b–9.
