Variety description

The variety is a bud mutation of the Physocarpus opulifolius «André» variety, obtained by crossing the «Aureus» (or «Luteus») and «Diabolo» varieties. The shrub has medium vigor and reaches a height of 1.5–2 meters.

The main feature of the variety is the change in leaf color throughout the season: in spring, upon unfolding, they have a honey-yellow hue, which later turns into a rich red color. The plant is characterized as hardy and low-maintenance, suitable for group plantings and hedges.
