The shrub is distinguished by a dense, well-branched structure. Young shoots have a bronze shade with a golden center; as they grow, the foliage becomes uniformly bronze-purple and retains this color until autumn. The plant blooms in May-June with white or pinkish flowers gathered in corymbose inflorescences. After flowering, bright red follicle fruits are formed.

The variety is frost-resistant and drought-tolerant, possessing high adaptability. Due to its compact size, the plant is suitable for use in hedges, small gardens, as well as for container gardening on balconies and terraces.
