Shrub of upright, semi-circular form, reaching a height of 1.5–1.8 m and a width of 1.2–1.5 m by 10 years of age. The leaves are intermediate in size between the Diabolo and Little Devil varieties, bright red upon emergence, transitioning to dark purple in summer.
Flowering occurs in May–June with corymbose inflorescences of light pink or pinkish-white flowers. Red fruits ripen in September. The variety withstands temperatures down to -34°C, prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils, and does not require complex maintenance.
