The leaves are smaller than those of the main species, with an irregular yellow or golden-yellow margin and burgundy speckles, most pronounced on young growth. The shrub reaches a height of 1.5 to 2.5 meters, forming a dense, wide crown.
The plant blooms in summer with creamy-white or pink flowers gathered in spherical inflorescences. The variety is undemanding, winter hardy, tolerates various soil types, and responds well to pruning, which stimulates the growth of young shoots and maintains the shape.
The variety is used in landscape design as a specimen plant, in group plantings, and for creating hedges. As the plant is a mutation, shoots with different leaf coloration may appear, which are recommended to be removed.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
