The shrub forms a dense, thick crown with graceful curved shoots. The height of the plant at maturity ranges from 1.5 to 3 meters. Young leaves have a bright yellow color, which turns light green in summer, and acquires bronze tones with orange splashes in autumn. In the shade, the decorative foliage color loses its intensity.
Flowering occurs in May-June with white or pinkish flowers in corymbose inflorescences, followed by the formation of decorative red fruits. The plant is photophilous, undemanding to soils, but prefers drained loams. The variety is resistant to urban conditions, pests, and diseases, and tolerates pruning well.
