The shrub is characterized by a compact and dense structure, reaching a height and width of 120–150 cm. The shoots are numerous, erect, and can become drooping with age. Leaves are seasonal, alternate, oval, three-lobed, measuring about 3.5 cm in length and 1.5–1.75 cm in width.

The foliage color changes during the season: in spring the leaves are yellow, in summer they become lemon-yellow, and in autumn they can acquire orange shades. Flowering occurs in June with white flowers collected in corymbose inflorescences. After flowering, decorative inflated follicles of coral-red color are formed.

The variety is fully winter-hardy (USDA zones 4 and above), resistant to urban conditions and air pollution. Suitable for group and solitary plantings, landscaping of public areas, as well as cultivation in containers.
