ActivePistacia vera L. · Pistachio
The Regents of the University of California
10 August 2026
This clone is not a production variety. It is used exclusively as a pollinator for female pistachio trees in orchards, often in combination with other types, such as Type B Male, to increase pollination efficiency.
Morphologically, the trees are characterized by the presence of leathery leaves. Detailed parameters, such as plant height or disease resistance, are not fixed characteristics and depend on growing conditions and the rootstock used.
