The variety is a male plant intended exclusively for pollination. Its flowering period is synchronized with early-flowering female varieties, which allows for its efficient use in commercial orchards to ensure fruit set in the Gumdrop, Golden Hills, and Lost Hills varieties.
The plant is characterized by early flowering, preceding the Randy pollinator variety by 6–10 days. The variety features abundant flowering and the production of a large quantity of viable pollen with high germination rates, while no fruit is formed on it.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
