Nazar is a male parental genotype used in controlled crosses to study combining ability with various female varieties. In breeding projects, the primary focus is on the plant's role as a pollinator.

The plant belongs to the group of late-flowering male varieties and blooms approximately two weeks later than early counterparts, which is taken into account when synchronizing flowering with female trees. Studies of progeny obtained using this genotype showed reduced growth vigor in terms of trunk diameter.
