Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a moderately vigorous tree, reaching a height of about 3 meters by seven years of age when grown on rootstocks. The harvest matures 10–14 days earlier than the industry standard «Kerman», which helps reduce the risk of infestation by the pest Amyelois transitella and avoids problems associated with late autumn rains.

The plant possesses increased resistance to mild winters due to lower chilling hour requirements, which promotes more uniform flowering and fruit set. The variety shows a lower tendency towards alternate bearing.

The fruits are characterized by their large size and a high percentage of split edible nuts that open easily. To ensure effective fruiting, it is necessary to have male pollinator varieties present, whose flowering periods, specifically the «Randy» variety, overlap with this variety.
