The GUERRERO variety is a male tree used exclusively to provide pollination in commercial pistachio orchards. The tree has medium vigor and is adapted to mild winter conditions due to its low chilling requirement.
The plant is characterized by a very early flowering period, which allows it to be used for pollinating early-flowering varieties or ensuring the start of the pollination season in years with unfavorable weather conditions. Pollen productivity is assessed as moderate.
