The Tegma variety was used in comparative agronomic trials conducted by Polish scientific institutes, where its performance for livestock needs was studied. Specifically, research was conducted on the content of exogenous amino acids and protein levels.
During the research, the variety was compared with the Granit variety. Both samples were characterized by a high level of lysine, however, in terms of amino acid accumulation in protein, the Granit variety outperformed the Tegma variety under a number of conditions. Detailed morphological characteristics and plant resistance data are not available.
