The variety belongs to the marrow vegetable pea type. The plant stems reach a height of 150 to 250 cm, which requires the mandatory installation of supports, such as trellises or nets. The pods have a length of 8 to 12 cm and contain 6–9 large sweet grains with a slightly wrinkled surface.
The period from emergence to technical maturity is from 80 to 110 days. The variety is distinguished by a prolonged fruiting period, which occurs in July and August. The plant is cold-hardy and sensitive to the irrigation regime during the flowering and pod formation periods.
The purpose of the variety is universal: it is suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing. The grains do not become coarse for a long time. Due to its great height, the plant is sometimes used for decorative purposes, including planting along fences or gazebos.
