The variety is late-ripening; the period from emergence to the beginning of harvest is 83 to 110 days. It is a liana-like crop, stem height reaches 1.5–3 meters, which requires the use of supports, trellises, or nets.
The pods are large, reaching 11 cm in length, containing 7 to 9 seeds. Seeds at the maturity stage are wrinkled and green in color. The variety belongs to shelling types and is characterized by high yield and an extended fruiting period.
The produce of the TEL variety is intended for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and freezing. The crop is distinguished by a high content of sugars, proteins, and vitamins.
