The Bartitia variety belongs to the turf varieties of Kentucky bluegrass. It is capable of forming high-quality cover and demonstrates good tolerance to mowing at a height of 36 to 50 mm. Based on the results of genetic analysis using SSR markers, the variety is classified as a representative of the BVMG group.

The plant is intended for creating sports turf and landscape objects, and can be grown both under intensive care with regular irrigation and fertilization, and at a lower level of maintenance. The characteristics of winter hardiness and resistance to diseases, such as helminthosporium and rust, show variability depending on growing conditions and the season.

The variety is often included in grass mixtures together with other bluegrass species, perennial ryegrass, or tall fescue to increase the stability of the cover. It regularly participates in comparative trials of turf grasses, in particular in the NTEP program.
