The variety was obtained through individual selection of plants from natural populations in southern Sweden. It is characterized by a semi-prostrate growth habit, the presence of short, medium-wide leaf blades, and a well-developed root system.

The plant has a good spreading ability. The variety is versatile in its application: it is suitable both for creating dense low-cut lawns and for use in pastures or for silage production.
