The Shannon variety is an elite type of Kentucky bluegrass, characterized by a medium-fine leaf texture and dark green color. The plant possesses high growth energy, rapid germination, and the ability to form a dense turf cover.

The America hybrid-type variety demonstrates increased wear resistance, heat tolerance, and disease resistance. Due to active recovery after stress, it is effective for the production of sod rolls and use in regions with temperate and transitional climates.
