The Russian variety "Сириус" is characterized by a growing season of 110–120 days. The plant has an intermediate bush type with shoots of medium thickness. The leaves are linear, soft, light green or green in color, and have slight pubescence. The variety is distinguished by resistance to lodging and seed shattering.
The name "Sirius" is also found in European catalogs of Kentucky bluegrass varieties. However, there is no information in open sources regarding its morphological traits, originator, or confirmation of a link to specific breeding companies, and in some registries, the variety is listed as delisted.
