The variety is long-lived, has a semi-erect habit in the initial heading phase, and green leaves. A characteristic feature is the presence of reddish-purple pigment on the stem nodes and inflorescences.

The plant possesses a good ability to form a dense turf and rapid regeneration, which ensures high wear resistance. Seed yield is 8–10 centners per hectare.
