Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is characterized by deep rhizomes that ensure high turf strength and rapid recovery from damage. Due to its Texas bluegrass genetics, the variety is adapted to hot climate conditions and possesses resistance to diseases common in humid southern regions, as well as moderate salt tolerance.

The variety forms a dense, high-quality turf, maintaining a dark green color throughout the year. Spitfire is used for sports turf, parks, and private lawns, and it also performs well in grass mixtures with tall fescue. In some cases, it may demonstrate non-uniform establishment.
