The variety was obtained as a result of crossing C-74 and Lakeshore forms. It forms high-quality dense sod and is characterized by medium-late reproductive phase onset dates, as well as high seed productivity potential.

Due to its wear resistance, the variety is widely used in professional landscaping, including the creation of sports fields and golf courses. It is often used in seed mixtures in combination with other bluegrass varieties and perennial ryegrass.
