The variety is a hybrid of Populus deltoides and Populus nigra. It is a male clone with a vertical branch growth habit, which demonstrates resistance to strong winds and the ability to adapt to open areas. 7 years after planting, the height of the trees reaches 8.9–9.8 m.

The wood of the variety is valued for its high quality, but requires a specific approach during drying due to remaining high moisture content, which can cause deformation. The variety is moderately susceptible to rust, but is resistant to mass disease outbreaks, which allows its use in protective forest plantations.
