The variety belongs to the Populus × generosa taxon and is a complex hybrid including genetic material of P. deltoides and P. trichocarpa. The clone is characterized by intensive growth, the formation of a straight trunk, and high wood quality suitable for the production of plywood, lumber, and pulp and paper products.
The plant is intended for cultivation in short rotation coppice (SRC) plantations for the production of wood chips. The variety exhibits specific leaf surface development indicators depending on growing conditions. Breeding of the clone was aimed at resistance to diseases, in particular leaf rust of the genus Melampsora.
