The variety is a hybrid bred from a local species of black poplar. As a result of a breeding program, forms of Populus deltoides and Populus nigra were crossed. The plant has a straight trunk with a prominent central leader and branches directed upwards. A characteristic feature is very long leaf petioles.
This clone demonstrates high growth rates, showing superiority in trunk diameter over the Robusta variety. It possesses good wind resistance. The variety is intended for forestry, landscaping, and roadside planting.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
